Basara Saraswathi Temple also called as Gnana Saraswathi temple is located on the banks of River Godavari. This temple is dedicated to the Goddess of Learning, Saraswathi. Basara temple is situated 200km from the Hyderabad city. Children visit the temple before stating their education and seek the blessings of the goodness.

- Need to carry Flowers Garlands – 2, Book – 1, Pen – 1, Slate – 4, Slate pencil – 2/3, Rice – two bowls, Coconut – 1, Pasupu & Kumkuma – one pack each.
